We know Steve Jobs/Steve Wozniak invented the company Apple, but only a few of you know that the first real Apple Macbook fell from a tree on top of Sir Isaac Newton way back in the 1600s. Considering I have time travelling skills, I would know.
Apple’s so notorious for their constant releasing a new version of their product all the time and making it sound like its a 100 times more epic than the previous.
It’s worse than crack-cocaine especially for Apple fanboys.
If we were to duel it out right now with Apple products, we would be as geeky as this:
The only thing the winner would prove is how much more of a geek he is. Which I guess is a positive thing now.
Whereas – near Isaac Newton’s time there would be nothing but epic-ness:
Sigh. I loathe how all the epic-ness has gone out of life nowadays.
When I was in high school, all the geeks were closet geeks. According to the new 21 Jump Street movie with Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum and a cameo by Johnny Depp, the top of the food chain in high school are the geeks. I think the internet boom and Apple really really had something to do with the influence of that.
With that introduction, I get into my main topic of today’s post:
Apple has not yet gone into video games (well – I meant console games, not the Ipod/Ipad App store). CONSOLE games that is.
But everything Apple does, they have a tendency to make it well. And pretty. SHINY pretty.
It would give me a chance to drop-kick my Nintendo Wii then and focus on playing on the Apple console system.
The Nintendo Wii itself looks a bit like it could’ve been designed by Apple. Same shiny white, same sleek design. My guess is Apple would aim to kick the crap out of Nintendo’s latest console.
I was wrong. Notice the black design. Looks like they’re competing to overthrow the Xbox360.
AHA! Makes sense. Why didn’t I think of it before. Apple competes with Microsoft all the time and ends up winning. Obviously, if they created a console gaming product it would pose a serious threat against the Microsoft Xbox 360.
Why I-gam3? Maybe they’ll get bored of having an “I” in front of all their product names and actually add an I-. A 3 is just for l33tspeak. Maybe Apple fanboys will get a nice kick out of it.
Here’s me kicking my previous version of the I-game3. It’s outdated. I run to the store to buy a new one. NOW!
You know what’s funny is – every other console system has its own niche game titles and niche game characters that are only for that system. Like Mario for Nintendo, Halo for Xbox, Sonic for Sega etc.
Apple won’t even need to invest a PENNY in that department. All they have to do is create an SDK for programming apps to the console, and viola! The Apple I-game3 console systems will be FREE MARKET gaming, open to any and all app developers.
They don’t have to spend a dime on character/story/gamer development!! Steve Jobs would be pointing a finger and laughing his ass off from Iheaven.
They may even start a trend as they usually do. Sony Playstation, Microsoft Xbox, and Nintendo Wii would crap their pants in trying to change their whole system in allowing Free Market app development for their console.
GOOD! We customers get to save lots of money and don’t need to buy extra controllers since every hillbilly has an Iphone nowadays. Apple would have to work on future updates to make their Iphone more “controller” like – but with the touchpad system and their genius engineers, that should be a piece of carrot cake.
There’s a twist..
Gee I wonder what that would look like?
Oh I get it. The Iphone would not only be a CONTROLLER for their CONSOLE system, but also a HANDHELD gaming device in itself. A 2-3-4 in 1! HAH Nintendo – Why didn’t you think of that for your Nintendo DS, 3DS.. you should’ve made those handheld systems also be able to work for a controller for the Wii and the Wii-U systems.
I’m hungry now.
